This or That Thursday: On the Rocks

My husband is on 2 weeks annual leave. As I am only allowed to drive a couple of times a week (and only for short distances), we have almost filled the 2 week break with planned day trips, numerous medical appointments and perhaps a day or two of doing nothing at all.

We've had 2 daytrips so far (Wednesday & Thursday) - I came home with over 600 images, including photos of numerous birds I've never seen before in real life. Exciting but overwhelming as far as editing goes!!

Here are some images from our trip down to Burleigh Heads, on the Gold Coast. It was a beautiful, sunny winter day.

These two beautiful girls below are the youngest children from each of Michael's & my large blended family. Left is Bec (20, my youngest) & right is Lizzie (almost 15, Michael's youngest).

And this is the love of my life, Michael.

Many more beach images to follow in coming posts.
